This city has incredible places; from emblematic buildings, recognized internationally; to sectors dedicated to nature, art, tradition and gastronomy.
Join us on this trip through the Metropolitan Region! At the end you can find the link to various tours in Santiago.

1. Cerro San Cristóbal: family tourism

Cerro San Cristóbal is an essential classic, located within the Metropolitan Park and a few minutes from the Pedro de Valdivia metro (Line 1), a panorama in Santiago that you cannot miss.
What can you do here? Connect with nature, spot native animals, and enjoy incredible views of the city and the Andes Mountains. And the best thing, you can go up on foot or by bicycle thanks to the different trails and cycle paths it has.
However, you can also ascend the hill as many prefer; via the cable car. To get on, choose the station that best suits you depending on where you are staying. Don't you like heights? It's okay, there is the option of ascending on panoramic buses from the Pío Nono or Tepahue station.

2. Barrio Lastarria: tradition and art

If we talk about panoramas in Santiago, the Lastarria neighborhood is a tourist destination that you should include on your list. This neighborhood is considered one of the traditional epicenters of the city. The old style that characterizes it, with cobblestone streets and colorful facades, will make you teleport to the country's colonial era, experiencing authentic capital life.
Here you can visit the Church of Veracruz, the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts, the Gabriela Mistral Center and the illustrious Cine Arte Alameda, among others.
You can explore a variety of cultural and dining options, such as art galleries, theaters and venues dedicated to crafts. You will also find a fine selection of restaurants offering Chilean and international dishes.
What to do at night? Don't worry, there are plenty of plans! This neighborhood has a variety of pubs and bars, where you can enjoy live music, a plan in Santiago that we recommend not to skip.

3. Bicentennial Park: flora and fauna in Santiago

If you are a nature fan, this place is for you! Bicentennial Park is a tourist attraction located in the heart of the city, surrounded by trees with more than 2 thousand native species.
It offers various activities to enjoy outdoors, such as exploring the lagoons, cycling along trails and, for the little ones, playing in children's areas. In addition, you will be able to meet black-necked swans, thrushes, taguas, great herons, Koi fish, aquatic plants, among others.
And for lunch time there are several options: visit the El Mestizo Restaurant, located inside the park; Bring your own lunches and enjoy a picnic in the available green areas, or have lunch at the venues outside the park.
Finally, you cannot leave without visiting the Sculpture Trail, the Blind Garden or, if you are accompanied by a pet, taking it to the Pet Park. You won't regret choosing this panorama!

4. Costanera Center: highest viewpoint in Latin America

Do you want to enjoy an unforgettable sunset? Head to the Gran Torre Santiago, located in the Costanera Center, and climb to the impressive "Sky Costanera" viewpoint, which is 300 meters high.
From there, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the most emblematic places in the city, such as the Metropolitan Park and the majestic Andes Mountains, creating an unforgettable memory of your visit.
