Know Chile Bay
With a unique fauna, Chile Bay is another attraction of the Chilean Antartic territory. The bay -a beautiful paronamic place- has important natural resources, managed by scientific and ecologycal investigation centers in Antarctica. Chile Bay is also a Specially Protected Antartic Area, with natural attractions that are constantly looked after by the Maritime Sciencie Station and the Arturo Prat Naval Base. The cultural importance of this place is gathered up in the Comodoro Federico Guesalaga Toro Museum, which exists in the naval base of the same name and that shows how people in Antarctica used to survive and other information about the naval bases.
