Chincol
Zonotrichia capensis
It is 15 centimeters long. It has black wings and tail, grey face and crest with black stripes on the sides. There is a brown collar around its neck and it has white feathers on its tummy.
Distribucion
There are five kinas of Chincoin the country. The Zonotrichia capensis chilensis from Atacama to the Guaitecas Islands and to the Aysen north; the Zonotrichia capensis antofagastae in Tarapacá and Antofagasta; the Zonotrichia capensis peruviensis in the First region, until the 3.500 asl; the Zonotrichia capensis sanborni from Atacama to Los Andes; and the Zonotrichia capensis australis in the Metropolitan Region and from en la Aysén to Cabo de Hornos.
