Oak
Nothofagus Obliqua
It can be thirty feet tall. It grows in pyramid shape and its foliage begins at its base. Its leaves are simple and appear in two rows, while its fruit (“grape of the cordillera”) turns dark violet when it is mature. Its trunk is straight and cylinder shaped with grey shades.
Distribucion
From the Aconcagua River to Llanquihue and Chiloe.
Habitat
In some places in the Coastal Cordillera.
