Itinerary
Day 01: Santiago Airport - City tour - Santiago
Reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel of your choice. In the afternoon, city tour visiting the main tourist attractions.
The tour will allow you to know the origin of the city and emblematic places such as the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago. You will also visit La Moneda Palace, the seat of government, and the most traditional neighbourhoods of the historic centre. The excursion also includes a visit to the Santa Lucia hill, called Huelén by the native people, a true urban oasis in the middle of the city centre. There you will learn more about the history of Chile and enjoy privileged views of the capital.
Main tourist attractions to visit: Palacio de la Moneda, Barrio Republica, Blanco Encalada, Cumming, Palacio Cousiño, La Plaza de Armas, La Catedral, Mercado Central, Estación Mapocho, Bario Bellavista, Cerro Santa Lucia.
Return to the hotel.
Day 02: Santiago - Santiago Airport - Puerto Montt Airport - Puerto Varas
Transfer to Santiago Airport. Flight to Puerto Montt. Reception at El Tepual Airport in Puerto Montt and transfer to the hotel in Puerto Varas.
We will enjoy a City Tour around Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas. We will start our tour in Puerto Montt, the regional capital, a city that concentrates most of the fishing and business activity. The city is located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and offers a panoramic view of the bay and the island of Tenglo. In Puerto Montt there are different tourist attractions that enhance its beauty, such as the city centre with its cathedral and the seafood market, a colourful place where you can observe the daily work of the fishermen, and the Angelmó handicrafts market, which has a wide range of products such as copper, wool, wood and pencil lazuli.

Day 03: Puerto Varas - Petrohué - Lake Todos los Santos - Peulla
Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:30 hrs. departure for the excursion, starting the tour visiting the Petrohué Waterfalls, to later arrive at Petrohué and embark on the navigation that will take us to Peulla, a small ecological village of 120 inhabitants that is part of the famous Cruce Andino tourist circuit. The navigation lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, from where you can see the Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes, as well as a privileged view of Margarita Island. In Peulla there is the opportunity to do some of the adventure tourism excursions (at the passengers' expense) such as canopy, horseback riding, fishing excursions, jetboat rides and 4x4 safari that are offered in this paradise of nature. These excursions can be taken on the boat. Return to the city of Puerto Varas, accommodation.
Day 04: Puerto Varas - Frutillar
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 09:00 am, (pick up half an hour before the start of the excursion, subject to confirmation at the time of booking) we will visit the city of Frutillar as follows:
To get to Frutillar it is necessary to drive along the western shore of Lake Llanquihue. In our tour we will find the small industrial town of Llanquihue where we will access a rural road used by farmers in the area, along the route it is possible to observe the agricultural and livestock activity. We will be accompanied on our excursion by old German mansions that are used as lodging. Arriving in Frutillar you can feel a different atmosphere where you can find a mixture of peaceful life, cheerful gardens, colourful houses, tea rooms and its great Lake Theatre, located on the waterfront on the shores of Lake Llanquihue. Return to Puerto Varas,

Day 05: Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt Airport - Punta Arenas Airport - Puerto Natales.
Output from the hotel in Puerto Varas to Puerto Montt Airport. Reception at Punta Arenas Airport, (we recommend taking the first flight to Punta Arenas to arrive before 12:00 hrs). Transfer to the local bus terminal to board regular bus to the city of Puerto Natales. Duration of the trip 03:15 hours. Arrival to the city. Transfer from terminal to hotel, accommodation in Puerto Natales.
Day 06: Puerto Natales - Sailing to Glaciers Balmaceda and Serrano (High season only)
Continental breakfast, we will depart from the hotel towards the fiscal dock to start a maritime excursion to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. During the trip we will be able to observe colonies of sea lions, cormorants, waterfalls and inspiring native forests. After 4 hours we will dock at the Puerto Toro pier, from where we will start a short walk to the Serrano Glacier. Back on the boat, we will admire the Balmaceda Glacier which is in continuous retreat. Return to Puerto Natales. Overnight in Puerto Natales.
Day 07: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine National Park
Breakfast. At approximately 7:30 am, we will depart from the hotel to start the full day excursion that will take us first to the imposing Natural Monument Milodon Cave and later to the Torres del Paine National Park, with beautiful views of its mountains and lakes such as Sarmiento, Nordenskjold and Pehoe. Its rich fauna will be present through the "guanaco" and the "fox" among others, as well as a large number of birds easily observable during the tour. A short walk will take us to the Salto Grande, a large waterfall that is part of the hydrographic network of the park. Then, returning to the main road, we will access the administrative headquarters of CONAF, to continue to Grey Lake where, after a short walk of 30 minutes, in the middle of a millenary forest, we will arrive at its beach to admire a large number of ice floes that break off from the glacier. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 08: Puerto Natales - Punta Arenas - Punta Arenas Airport - Santiago
After breakfast, transfer to Punta Arenas Airport. Reception at Santiago Airport and transfer to the hotel.Accommodation.
Day 09: Santiago - Santiago Airport
At a time to be confirmed, transfer to Santiago airport.

Some of the the bus tours tend to speak a lot more Spanish than English. It would be better if the tour guides can balance the two languages out. City tours can be longer to cover more areas. We don't mind paying more for that.
