Easter Island Ecolodge is located in the center of Hanga Roa, 5 minutes away from the Pea Beach and 10 minutes on foot from the ceremonial center Tahai, close to the main services needed by passengers such as: bank, post office, restaurants, crafts market, church, supermarket. Situated exactly between 2 main streets: Atamu Tekena or Te Pito Te Henua.
The hotel has 38 comfortable rooms in singles, doubles, triples and quadruple family standard, all furnished with typical materials Rapa Nui, such as volcanic rocks and wood, combining comfort and warmth. All of them feature fan, telephone, minibar, safety deposit box, private bathroom with hairdryer, emergency light and private terrace to enjoy the gardens.

The best: Location Beds very good Clean Receptionists very helpfull

The worst: Noisy.. Cars allowed to park inside the hotel Garbage bins in front reception Pig farm at hotel entrance ...10 yards from reception Car allowed to park right in front the rooms. Very noisy. Restaurant only open for breakfast. Not even coffee in the afternoon ! No Tv in rooms. Internet very poor Manager not visible.

The best: Clean and comfortable hotel. Situated well, one block from main street, 10 min walk to beach. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good, ham, cheese, sweat breads, fresh fruit etc.usual fare for Chile.

The worst: Road from main street to hotel was unpaved, red soil very dusty gets into everything. Night time "snack food" served by the hotel was not good at all...very overpriced, eat some place else.

The worst: No pude utilizar cómodamente la ducha ya que no salía agua caliente o salía a gotas. Avisé sobre el problema pero no hubo solución.

The best: A clean, basic hotel in a very good location. Beautifully landscaped as well. A very helpful and friendly staff who could handle English much better than I could Spanish. The breakfast was adequate and you could grab an apple, pear, or orange to take with you on your day trips. Stored my luggage for me as my plane was leaving late.

The worst: I enjoyed my stay and have nothing to complain about. Even my fellow guests were nice and friendly.

The best: What a wonderful, little boutique place Hotel Rapa Nui was. The customer service was always friendly and with a smile, especially, Manuel, who was always available to help out. The price was reasonable for the location and the services offered (included breakfast and Wifi) and the room / bed was comfortable. Everything was within walking distance to the town. We looked at other hotels that were more expensive, but were booked out. We were glad to end up with Hotel Rapa Nui! Also, we had the 2-day tour visiting the Island with Samuel. He was very informative and knowledgeable with the island. Overall, our experience with Easter Island was great and would recommend anybody interest to go.

The worst: The only negative comment I would have is the bathroom seemed to be a little old and slightly dirty due to the water sometimes. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

The worst: The reception works only 5-6 hours per day. You don't have 24 hours Internet is very slow and only 1 hour per day.

The best: El personal fue amable, y dieron buenas indicaciones sobre tours y la isla en general.

The worst: La infraestructura. Las habitaciones no tienen adecuada ventilación para el calor que hace. Lleve mi Lap Top pero no pude usarla. Tienes que sentarte en una banquita sin mesa en pleno sol al lado de recepción para tener una señal pobrísima. Deberían mejorar esto. No hay TV ni teléfono en la habitación. El comedor y sala de estar son un horno. El acceso es de tierra. Hay que caminar unos 100 metros por camino polvoriento. Luego de hacer el aseo, dejan la puerta de vidrio abierta, con lo que cualquiera puede ingresar a la habitación.

The best: Friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, very knowledgeable about the place. For a single room, you get the WHOLE bed to yourself. :) Loved it.

The worst: No decorations inside. :( Other useful items that the room could use are, an alarm clock radio, screen door for the sliding door, and a "Privacy Please" sign, a ceiling fan with lights and a rug for the shower. There are dogs and roosters around. I didn't mind the "noise" because I'm used to it, but other guests at other hotels complained about the noise at other hotels. So if you're not used to it, bring ear plugs!

The best: Hotel limpio y ordenado. SIn pretensiones. Sencillo. Muy buena atención en el mesón de recepción. Buena ubicación.

The worst: Sería agradable contar con piscina. Las llaves del baño son muy ruidosas. El desayuno muy simple, podría tener opciones. Debiera contar con un frigobar.
