Ascent to the Villarrica Volcano (2,847 m.a.s.l.) to live one of the most moving experiences to reach the crater of the Villarrica Volcano and see the boiling lava, walk the almost 200 meters in diameter of the crater and listen to the different simultaneous explosions of how the lava expands in the inner walls of the Andean massif. Good physical condition is required. It takes 4 to 5 hours to climb and 2 to 3 hours to descend.
Experience one of the most impressive excursions in the area where you will appreciate from the heights: lakes, valleys, the chain of volcanoes and an impressive view of the city. All this and more will be part of the prize of reaching the summit. We also suggest a mix of raisins with almonds and isotonic liquid.

You will walk on trails that have an elevation from 750 m to 1350 m of altitude, for which you must have some physical preparation, so that you can sustain the pace. On the way, you will see some attractions such as Lake Tinquilco, Lake Chico, Laguna Verde, Laguna Toro and, of course, the native forest that makes up the park, as well as the birds that are there permanently, such as woodpeckers, pigeons and eaglets, among others. After a 6 hour hike, in which you will complete a distance of 10 km, you will start the return by vehicle to Pucón to finish the activity.
