Itinerary
At 08:30 a.m. approx. Pick up at Hotel in Puerto Natales towards Puerto Bories to take the navigation.
The Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers are located within the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, which is located 31 miles northwest of the city of Puerto Natales and is part of the Andes mountain range. Visiting it means admiring a majestic place, almost untouched by man. Its access is only by sea, sailing through the Fjord of Last Hope, which owes its name to the "last hope" of finding the Strait of Magellan in 1557, for an expedition that searched for it from the Pacific Ocean.
The trip begins at the Puerto Bories pier, and on the way it is possible to see the buildings belonging to the Bories refrigerator, which was one of the largest meat processing industries in Patagonia, you can also see a colony of Imperial Cormorants , a small colony of Sea Lions and a variety of plants that make up the flora, such as Coigue, Canelo, Lenga, Ñire, Chilco and Calafate among others.
The Balmaceda Glacier can be seen from the ship, however, to visit the Serrano, it is necessary to take a 20-minute walk along a path that borders a small lake caused by the melting of said glacier.
At 15:00 return to Puerto Natales. Transfer to your hotel.

Faq
The best time to visit is between the months of October and April, during the spring and summer season in the southern hemisphere, when weather conditions are more favorable and trails and activities are open. In winter, some routes may be closed due to snow or extreme weather.
The most common way to get there is to fly from Santiago to Punta Arenas or to the Teniente J. Gallardo Airport in Puerto Natales, and from there take a vehicle by land to Torres del Paine Park, which is about 100 km away. It can also be reached by bus from Punta Arenas.
The park offers options for all types of visitors, from short and easy hikes, such as the one that leads to Grey Lake or the Full day to the park that we offer, to more demanding routes such as the W circuit or the O circuit. It is advisable to be in good physical shape if you plan to do long or challenging hikes.
Due to the unpredictable weather, it is essential to bring warm, waterproof clothing suitable for walking on trails. We recommend layered clothing (thermal t-shirts, fleece liners, and a waterproof jacket). Don't forget hiking boots, gloves, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a comfortable backpack for the trails.
The climate is very variable, with strong winds, frequent rains and abrupt changes in conditions. Temperatures can range from 5°C to 20°C during the day in spring and summer, and drop much lower at night. It is important to be prepared for any type of weather
Yes, especially in high season (November to March). The most popular tours tend to sell out quickly. It is recommended to book in advance to ensure availability and avoid inconveniences.
First choose the date on the calendar on your right and tour options. Click on book and then fill in your personal and booking information. Once received we will process your reservation requesting payment by secure credit card and send you vouchers and final instructions.
