Itinerary

We invite you to know the region of Chiloé, Castro and Dalcahue. This tour allows us to visit the northern part of the Chiloé Island. After a 30-minute trip by ferry, watching a wide variety of birds, we will get to the small village of Cucao, visiting the Main Square and the church. We will continue to Dalcahue, where we will stop at the coast area for a walk and a visit to the Handicraft Market, Museum and church, with time to luch. By the promenade, we will head to Castro. We will visit the Gamboa River Palafitos (typical stilt houses), the Main Square and the church. Later, we will go to the last church of our tour in a village called Nercón. Return to Puerto Varas.

Faq
The best time to visit Puerto Varas is during the spring and summer season (November to March), when the weather is warmer and outdoor activities, such as hiking and sailing, are more pleasant. Autumn (April-May) is also a good time to enjoy the fall scenery and less crowds of tourists.
The climate in Puerto Varas is temperate, but can be very variable, with frequent rainfall and temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C during spring and summer. Comfortable, layered clothing is recommended, including a waterproof jacket, hiking boots and hat or cap. Although it is an all-season tourist destination, it is important to be prepared for cold and rain.
No previous outdoor experience is necessary to enjoy most of the tours in Puerto Varas. Many excursions are designed for people of all ages and activity levels, such as boat trips on Lake Todos los Santos or short hikes to the Petrohué Falls. However, some activities, such as trekking to the Osorno Volcano or longer excursions, may require moderate fitness.
Although not always strictly necessary, it is recommended to book in advance during the high season (November to March) to ensure a place on the most popular tours.
First choose the date on the calendar on your right and tour options. Click on book and then fill in your personal and booking information. Once received we will process your reservation requesting payment by secure credit card and send you vouchers and final instructions.
